Ladies Versus Butlers Novel

The Light Novel Series “Ladies versus Butlers!” (Redi x Bato) by author Tsukasa Kōzuki is getting made into an upcoming anime. The news was announced in the latest Dengeki Kanzume insert in Dengeki Bunko books this Tuesday, stating that the light novel series anime adaptation had been given a green-lit.

The first novel in the series was released in September of 2006, and this month, the ninth volume of the series will be coming out. There is already a manga adaptation that is being serialized in ASCII MediaWorks’ Dengeki Moeoh magazine, along with several J-Drama CD’s that have been released.

This is the synopsis of the series according to Anime News Network…..

The school romantic comedy revolves around Akiharu Hino (Kazuyuki Okitsu), an ordinary high school student who unfortunately looks like a juvenile delinquent. He enrolls into an academy that was once a school for upper-class ladies, and he is placed in the school’s newly established servant training department. The students there are raised to be either maids or butlers, and Akiharu finds himself in the middle of the bickering cliques.

The official preview website for the anime has already been launched.

According to Anime News Network, the staff credits are as follows….

Atsushi Ootsuki (Kanokon, Kanokon ~Manatsu no Daishanikusai~) is directing the animators at the Xebec studio with scripts supervised by Tsuyoshi Tamai (Inukami!, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Strike Witches). Akio Takami (Kanokon, Steam Detectives) is designing the characters based on Munyū’s novel illustrations. The anime has the same voice cast as the previous drama CD releases: Ayako Kawasumi as Tomomi Saikyō, Mai Nakahara as Serunia Iori Frameheart, Ami Koshimizu as Sanae Shikikagami, Rie Kugimiya as Kaoru Daichi, Mai Goto as Pina Suforumukuran Esutō, Rina Hidaka as Mimina Ōsawa, Mariya Ise as Kaede Tenjōji, and Kumi Sakuma as Mikan.

    I can see it again.
    Like with Bakemonogatari or Haruhi…

No one cares about the LN, but when the Anime comes out everyone will like it.

The Anime/Manga-scene left me in despair!!!

I wouldn’t say that. These light novels along with the ones you mentioned had HUGE readerships before they were optioned to become Anime. People do care, or else an Anime company wouldn’t be interested necesarrily.
