Kino no Tabi Novel 1

Yes, you heard me right, according to the same article by Anime News Network that was refrenced in the below article, it was also mentioned directly by Tokyopop that the Kino no Tabi novel license was still suffering issues and had not been worked out as of yet.

Which leads me, as I’m sure you as well, to wonder what in the world was the ISSUE that it would be years and years later and they still haven’t been able to work it out? lol

I would love to read more than 4 novels. Here in Germany we only have Novels 1-4 and the whole LN-Novels sold… not so well…
So they put it on hold/cancelled.

Its kinda sad… Just look at communities like 4chan, ANN, myanimelist etc…
They like things like Spice and Wolf, Bakemonogatari etc.
But when it comes to novels, they dont buy them. The whole “Anime/Manga”-Scene is kinda retarded. I read a lot of people there saying “I dont want to read. Far to exhausting” and things like that….

    Urg…

We have to just hope that normal people will pick up these books and read them… In the US that seems hopeless, it’s a nation drifting deeper and deeper into the depths of laziness.

Bakemonogatari – I’ve got to read that – I’m still reading Kara no Kyoukai though – reading Japanese is exhausting…. – I hope they get both of those out in English eventually to attract more readers. Niosioisin’s works seem to be doing at least reasonably well though… Still waiting on the rest of the Zaregoto series.
